Like my earlier Equivalence Series, I think of the 2025 Equivalence Series of works as social bodies. They mingle graphic painted forms with hard edges among hue gradations and stained atmospheres, flirting with suggestive relations and tellings. Careful labors and construction give way to transformative states that translate the circumstances of a changed life with shifting social conditions into an abstracted language with mnemic traces.
